Usually, a national dress in Finland is linked to a region. However, this one is still just as official part of national dress collection as others.

The more I have studied history, the more I believe that Social Darwinism is a toxic ideological disease that we must rid ourselves of. From eugenics to abortion and the holocaust, the belief of “survival of the fittest” in human beings begs the question of who are “the fittest” and implies that those who are not the fittest, ought not survive. I believe that many issues in society, including modern racism and ableism, find their root here, and I’m sick of it.
